Brownwood Claybird Club is the premiere Sporting Clays facility in Central Texas. We encourage shooters of all skill levels and welcome you to come and shoot our courses.


Brownwood Claybird Club is your sporting clays retreat in beautiful Brownwood, TX. Located next to the Brownwood Country Club, this evolving shooting sports facility offers sporting clays, five stand, shooting lessons and more.

Brownwood Claybird Club was born out of a need for a quality clay shooting sports destination in the Lake Brownwood area. Nestled next to the beautiful Brownwood Country Club in the historic location of the original Camp Bowie military training camp, Brownwood Claybird Club offers great scenic views along fun, but challenging courses.

After a round of sporting clays, browse our Pro Shop for new gear or enjoy some refreshments at the Country Club. To get the most out of your experience, look into getting a membership to our facilities. Brownwood Claybird Club is more than just your sporting clays retreat in beautiful Brownwood, TX. Brownwood Claybird Club is also the perfect place to plan your next get together.

With our beautiful event pavilion, Brownwood Claybird Club offers a beautiful indoor and outdoor event space with access to cooking and catering equipment, a picturesque view of the Brown County countryside, and on-site staff to make your planning go smoothly. Our 45′ by 90′ event center has adjustable lighting and large screen TVs that can be used for presentations or videos that tell your wedding story. 

To take advantage of the sunshine and great weather, the event space also opens up to the outside with big glass overhead doors. In case of inclement weather, the doors can be closed to keep the fully heated and air conditioned event pavilion comfortable for all guests.
